Summary

This study compares two different anesthesia drug combinations during heart bypass surgery to see which one better maintains blood flow to the brain. Researchers will monitor 40 patients with coronary artery disease and weakened heart function using special brain oxygen sensors. The goal is to gather information that could help doctors choose anesthesia drugs that better protect brain function during these complex surgeries.
