Summary
This study aims to understand how different types of anemia affect complication risks after surgery. Researchers will observe 1,000 adults undergoing moderate-to-high-risk operations, comparing those with iron-deficiency anemia, anemia from chronic disease, or combined anemia to those without anemia. The goal is to see if certain anemia types lead to more heart, kidney, or brain complications after surgery.
