Summary

This study aims to find the best short-term medication to prevent blood clots from forming on a heart device. The device is implanted to help prevent strokes in people with atrial fibrillation. Researchers are comparing a newer type of blood thinner (DOAC) to standard aspirin-like therapy for 60 days after the procedure.
