New drug combo tested for Tough-to-Treat amyloidosis

Summary
This early-phase study is testing the safety and best dose of a three-drug combination (venetoclax, ixazomib, and dexamethasone) for adults with light chain amyloidosis that has returned or stopped responding to prior treatments. The study is specifically for patients who have a certain genetic change in their cells. The main goal is to see how well the body tolerates this combination and to find the right dose for future research.
