Summary

This study compares a new MRI technique (aMRI) to standard PET scans for measuring brain tumor activity in 20 adults with glioma. aMRI uses special analysis of regular MRI images to detect tumor cell metabolism without radiation. If it works as well as PET, it could offer a cheaper, more available way to diagnose and monitor brain tumors.
