Summary

This study looked at how the antibiotics amoxicillin and clavulanic acid get into the fluid around the lungs in people with serious chest infections. Eleven adults who needed a chest tube took part. The goal was to understand how much antibiotic reaches the infected area, which can help doctors choose the right treatment.
