First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a dried, sterilized membrane made from donated human amniotic tissue can safely help heal chronic wounds like diabetic foot ulcers and corneal ulcers. About 20 participants will receive the membrane as a biological dressing. Researchers will monitor wound closure, infection, and pain to find the best sterilization dose that keeps the membrane effective.
