Could a fluid from pregnancy hold the key to safer back pain relief?
NCT ID NCT04537026
Summary
This study tested a new treatment for chronic back and leg pain caused by spinal stenosis, a narrowing of the spine. Researchers compared an injection made from filtered human amniotic fluid, which has natural healing properties, against the standard steroid injection. The goal was to see if the amniotic fluid treatment could reduce pain and improve function with fewer side effects than steroids.
