NCT ID NCT07212595

Summary

This study tests whether giving children an amino acid infusion during and after heart surgery can help prevent serious kidney injury and reduce time on a breathing machine. Researchers will compare the amino acid treatment to a placebo in 30 children at high risk for these complications. The goal is to see if this approach helps protect kidney function and speeds recovery after surgery.
