Egg hormone may predict healthy embryos in IVF

NCT ID NCT05837325

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the amount of a hormone called AMH found in the fluid around a woman's egg can predict if the resulting embryo has the right number of chromosomes (is 'normal'). Researchers will collect fluid from the first egg of each ovary during IVF and track the embryo's development. The goal is to find a simple way to choose the healthiest embryos without needing to biopsy them.
