New eye scan technology tested for better vision monitoring
NCT ID NCT02868086
Summary
This study compared two different eye scanning methods to monitor treatment for wet age-related macular degeneration. Researchers tested whether a newer scanning technique called OCT angiography could help doctors better time treatment injections compared to the standard OCT scan. The goal was to see if using the newer technology could help maintain or improve patients' vision.
