Summary

This study aimed to find the best way to motivate people with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) to adopt healthier habits. Researchers tested whether giving patients personalized risk information (including genetic testing) and coaching helped them improve their diet, exercise, and quit smoking. The goal was to learn which strategies work best to encourage lifestyle changes that might slow down vision loss.
