New imaging study aims to spot immune cells in Alzheimer's brains

Summary
This study uses a special full-body PET scan to look for activated T cells (a type of immune cell) in the brain and body of people with Alzheimer's disease. Ten participants with Alzheimer's and some healthy volunteers will get the scan to compare results. The goal is to better understand how the immune system may be involved in Alzheimer's, not to test a treatment.
