First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study is testing whether smartphones and wearable devices can detect early signs of Alzheimer's disease better than standard questionnaires. Researchers will follow 3,500 adults, including healthy volunteers and those with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer's, to see if digital monitoring can catch subtle daily-living changes. The goal is to improve early diagnosis, not to treat or cure the disease.
