New brain scan could sharpen Alzheimer's detection
NCT ID NCT05542953
Summary
This study tested a new type of PET scan that uses a special tracer called [18F]APN-1607. The goal was to see if this scan could show different patterns in the brains of healthy people, people with mild memory problems, and people with Alzheimer's dementia. Researchers compared the scan results from 230 participants to understand if this tool could help doctors better identify Alzheimer's disease.
