Scientists map Alzheimer's proteins in the brain over time

NCT ID NCT02740634

Summary

This study aims to better understand how two proteins, amyloid and tau, build up in the brains of people with different forms of Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will use brain scans to track 60 participants with typical or unusual Alzheimer's symptoms over one year. The goal is to learn how these protein levels change, which may help future research but does not provide direct treatment.
