Summary

This early study tested the safety of a new drug called BNC, which is being developed for Alzheimer's disease. Researchers gave single doses to 75 healthy volunteers aged 55 and older to see how their bodies processed the drug and to check for side effects. The study was designed to find a safe dose range before testing in people with Alzheimer's.
