Scientists map path of Alzheimer's drug in healthy brains

NCT ID NCT06454721

Summary

This early-stage study aimed to understand how an experimental Alzheimer's drug, BIIB080, travels through the brain and spinal cord. Researchers gave a tiny, traceable dose of the drug to 5 healthy adults and used special brain scans to see where it went. The main goals were to map the drug's path and check for any immediate safety issues.
