Scientists scan brains to unlock Alzheimer's secrets
NCT ID NCT03503331
Summary
This study uses special brain scans (PET and MRI) to measure amyloid plaques in people with and without Alzheimer's disease. Researchers want to understand how these plaques, along with a person's race and heart health factors, relate to memory and thinking problems. The study is observing 160 people already enrolled in a larger Alzheimer's research program to gather this information.
