First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether a blood test (Quest AD-Detect) can help doctors identify Alzheimer's disease earlier in patients hospitalized with confusion or delirium. Researchers will follow up with participants six months later to discuss results and arrange further care if needed. The goal is to improve diagnosis for people aged 60-90 who have not been previously diagnosed with dementia.
