Scientists search for Alzheimer's clues in the blood
NCT ID NCT00647478
Summary
This study aimed to understand if certain proteins in the blood (IGF-I and IGFBP-3) are linked to Alzheimer's disease and memory problems. Researchers compared these protein levels in three groups: people with Alzheimer's, people with mild memory issues, and healthy elderly individuals. The goal was to gather knowledge that might help identify risk factors for the disease in the future.
