New pill aims to boost Brain's blood supply in Alzheimer's fight

Summary
This study is testing whether a new oral drug, XBD173, can improve how blood flows in the brain in response to mental activity in people with Alzheimer's disease. About 51 participants with mild to moderate Alzheimer's will take either the drug or a placebo (dummy pill) for 28 days. Researchers will use memory tests and MRI scans to see if the drug improves blood flow and other markers related to brain health.
