Summary
This study tested a new drug called ALTO-203 for people with major depression, especially those who struggle with a lack of pleasure (anhedonia). It involved 69 participants who received either the drug or a placebo to see how it affected their mood and alertness, and to check its safety. The main goal was to see if the drug could improve symptoms over a short period.
