Summary
This study tested an experimental drug, BIIB105, in adults with ALS, a disease that weakens muscles over time. The trial had two parts: first, some people got the drug and some got a placebo; then everyone could get the drug for up to 3 years. The main goals were to check safety and see if the drug could slow the disease. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
