Scientists seek clues in ALS Patients' brains and spines
NCT ID NCT05067179
Summary
This study aims to better understand Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) by collecting detailed information from patients. Researchers will gather medical data during life and, with consent, perform rapid autopsies after death to bank tissue. The goal is to identify reliable markers of disease progression by comparing MRI scans with tissue analysis, which could help guide future research.
