Smartphone app aims to listen for early signs of ALS decline
NCT ID NCT07341334
Summary
This study aims to understand how speech and breathing change over time in Spanish-speaking people with ALS. Researchers will use a smartphone app to record participants' speech and breathing tasks regularly. The goal is to see if these recordings can serve as reliable digital markers to track the progression of speech and swallowing problems in ALS.
