Smartphone app tracks ALS Patients' speech and swallowing from home
NCT ID NCT04889898
Summary
This study is testing whether a smartphone app can reliably track changes in speech and swallowing for people with ALS from their own homes. Researchers want to see if this remote monitoring works well for patients and provides useful information compared to standard clinic visits. The goal is to better understand how these important functions change over time in ALS.
