Race against time: scientists track 600 At-Risk people to stop ALS before it starts

Summary
This study aims to understand how ALS develops by closely monitoring 600 adults who have a family history of the disease but don't yet show symptoms. Participants will be followed for 3 years with regular check-ins, blood tests, and symptom tracking to identify early warning signs. The goal is to collect data that researchers worldwide can use to develop future prevention strategies and treatments.
