New brain scan seeks to unlock clues in ALS
NCT ID NCT05602142
Summary
This study is testing a new type of brain scan to see if it can detect inflammation in the brains of people with ALS. Researchers will compare scans from 20 people with ALS to scans from healthy people to see if the scan can spot differences linked to the disease. The main goal is to see if the scan is safe and if it can help doctors better understand and track ALS progression.
