First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study aims to find biological markers (biomarkers) in the blood of people with ALS that can show whether a potential new treatment is working. Researchers will collect tiny particles released by nerve cells from blood samples of 30 ALS patients and 30 healthy volunteers. By comparing these particles, they hope to identify signals that can be used in future early-stage drug trials.
