High-Tech brain scans hunt for clues to stop ALS
NCT ID NCT02567136
Summary
This study aims to find measurable signs, called biomarkers, of ALS and Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS) using advanced MRI brain scans. Researchers will compare detailed brain images from 30 people with ALS or PLS to images from healthy people. The goal is to better understand these diseases, which could help develop future treatments, but this study itself does not test a treatment.
