Major national study launches to unlock the secrets of ALS

Summary
This study aims to collect detailed information from 2000 people, including those with ALS and healthy volunteers, over two years. Researchers will track symptoms, collect blood samples, and gather voice recordings to create a large database for scientists. The goal is to better understand how ALS progresses and to find clues for developing future treatments, but this study itself does not test a new therapy.
