First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new treatment for pulmonary fibrosis, a disease that scars the lungs and makes breathing hard. Seven people will inhale a protein made from donated fat cells every 3 days for 7 doses. The study checks if the treatment is safe and improves breathing and quality of life. Because it is very early and has no control group, results will be preliminary.
