Summary

This study tested whether adding a reconstruction of the anterolateral ligament (ALL) to a repeat anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery improves knee stability and patient-reported outcomes. 102 people who needed a second ACL surgery took part. Half received the standard ACL revision alone, and half also had the ALL reconstruction. The goal was to see if the extra procedure leads to better rotational knee stability and higher scores on knee function questionnaires.
