First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving people with alcohol-related liver disease personalized options for alcohol treatment helps them actually start and stay in treatment. Researchers will also correct common misunderstandings about treatment. About 268 adults from University of Michigan liver clinics will take part. The goal is to see if this approach increases the number of people who attend therapy, support groups, or other programs.
