Summary
This study tests whether starting alcohol use disorder treatment while still in the hospital helps people stay in treatment and drink less after they go home. 450 adults with moderate to severe alcohol problems will receive either a brief counseling session alone, or that session plus medications, or the session plus medications and online therapy.
