Summary
This study aims to improve a short motivational conversation for young adults (ages 18-25) who were injured in an assault and also misuse alcohol or cannabis. Researchers will interview and survey 50 participants from the emergency department to understand their confidence to change and how friends and family influence their substance use. The goal is to adapt the conversation to better support these young people in making healthier choices.
