Can regular check-ins keep people sober after rehab?
NCT ID NCT06618755
Summary
This study tests whether adding regular motivational talks to standard care helps people with alcohol addiction stay sober longer after leaving the hospital. Researchers will compare two groups of 104 adults: one receiving motivational interviews every two weeks for four months, and another receiving usual care alone. The main goal is to see if this extra support increases the number of alcohol-free days and reduces relapses during the first year after treatment.
