Can a simple fluid change improve outcomes in major cancer surgery?

Summary
This study looks at whether adding a protein called albumin to standard IV fluids during a major cancer surgery (cytoreduction with heated chemotherapy) can lower the risk of complications after the operation. About 140 adults with abdominal cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either standard fluids or standard fluids plus albumin. The main goal is to see if the albumin group has fewer or less severe complications 28 days after surgery.
