First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tested a new pill combining two medicines (albendazole and ivermectin) to treat several types of intestinal worms in children and young adults aged 5 to 18. The goal was to see if the combo worked better than the standard single medicine, especially for worms that are hard to treat. The trial was terminated early, so final results are not available.
