NCT ID NCT06299735
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at 66 adults having heart surgery that required one lung to be deflated. Researchers compared two ways to manage breathing: a double-lumen tube and a bronchial blocker. The goal was to see which method caused fewer lung problems after surgery. The study measured how long it took to place each device, how well the lung collapsed, and how often the device needed to be repositioned.
