First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looked at how a breathing technique called ELTGOL affects air distribution in the lungs of people with COPD and healthy volunteers. Participants lay on their side while researchers applied gentle pressure to the chest and abdomen. The goal was to understand how these pressures change airflow in different parts of the lung. The study included 33 adults and used a special imaging method to measure lung activity.
