First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a special gas system called Airseal® can reduce pain after laparoscopic hysterectomy compared to the standard system. 80 women having the surgery for non-cancer reasons were randomly assigned to one of the two systems. The main goal was to measure pain levels 6 hours after surgery using a 0-10 scale.
