Can your AirPods double as hearing aids? new study investigates

Summary
This study is testing if Apple AirPods Pro can work as helpful technology for adults with mild-to-moderate hearing loss, especially in noisy settings like restaurants. Researchers will compare AirPods to standard hearing aids and other devices to see which one makes it easiest to understand speech and requires the least listening effort. About 24 adults who haven't used hearing aids recently will try different devices in a lab session and report which they prefer.
