AI hunts for link between dirty air and premature babies

NCT ID NCT06340971

Summary

This research aims to understand how air pollution affects pregnancy. Scientists will use artificial intelligence to analyze the health records of 18,000 women who gave birth in London, linking them to local air quality data. The goal is to build a computer model that can predict the risk of a baby being born too early and identify when in pregnancy pollution exposure is most harmful.
