First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at how air pollution and different types of exercise affect thinking skills in healthy young adults. 93 people aged 20-30 who did not exercise regularly were split into groups doing high-intensity interval training, moderate aerobic exercise, or stretching, with some using air purifiers. Researchers measured changes in brain function, blood flow, and related chemicals to understand the combined effects of exercise and air quality.
