First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether using an air-polishing device with erythritol powder can prevent white spots on teeth and gum inflammation in teenagers wearing braces. About 60 participants aged 12-16 will be randomly assigned to receive either air-polishing or standard ultrasonic cleaning during their orthodontic treatment. The goal is to see which method better protects teeth and gums over two years.
