First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new cleaning method (air-polishing with erythritol) against standard cleaning (ultrasound) to prevent white spots on teeth and gum inflammation in 60 teens aged 12-16 who are getting braces. Participants will be followed for 2 years to see which method works better. The goal is to find a simpler, more effective way to keep teeth and gums healthy during orthodontic treatment.
