First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests a mind-body program called Amygdala and Insula Retraining (AIR) to see if it can reduce perimenopause symptoms like hot flashes, sleep problems, and mood changes. About 160 people with perimenopause will either do the AIR program or be on a waitlist. The goal is to find a drug-free way to ease symptoms and improve quality of life.
