Clean air at home: a new weapon against asthma?

NCT ID NCT07196436

Summary

This study is testing whether installing special air cleaners or ventilators in homes can improve air quality and help people with asthma breathe easier. Researchers will compare real devices to fake ones in 80 low-income households in Texas over two years. They will measure air pollutants, mold, and track participants' asthma symptoms, lung function, and quality of life to see if cleaner indoor air leads to better health.
