AI vs doctors: which finds breast cancer risk better?

NCT ID NCT05968157

Summary

This study is testing whether a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Mirai can better identify women at high risk for breast cancer compared to current standard methods. Researchers will invite about 200 women identified as high-risk by either method to receive an MRI scan to look for cancer. The goal is to see if the AI tool helps find more cancers earlier and works fairly for women of all races and ethnicities.
